Web Designer Should Able To Coding ?

Does a web designer should be coding? Not always! But it must 'understand' how the website will be in the coding. Which means, all the design elements that we created in Photoshop must be code-able. Try to peep a few tips about website design preparation.

Why do I not to coding websites (personal and commercial) my own?

First, because I feel my skills are not in coding, and more friends who are very competent at all in terms of coding, which is able to get the collaboration in a project website.

Second, the time that the need for coding long enough, so I better dump the code to someone who can be believed, and I can move on to other projects (which means the rotation will be more profitable projects and work system becomes more efficient and effective).

Third, not many web designers who specialize in the interface and setting the flow of information on the website. It is little to do with coding, this is the initial concept of a website. And I think this part is as important as code. Useless featured sophisticated websites, amazing jquery effect, but the design is really painful.
Finally ...

In conclusion, a web designer needs to 'understand' coding but do not have to 'be' to coding. Of course it would be great if the 'can do' own design code. And most importantly we must realize our true capabilities are in which section.

As we know, today's website already involves many elements, ranging from the interface (design), code, copywriting, SEO even to online marketing techniques. Do you think one person can give you all that?. Website is not just PSD to CSS / Html, the website is more than that.
