4 Reasons to Start A Career in Website Design Competition

Many who view the website online design competition as a major problem andembarrassment for creative workers. But we have to look at from a different angle.

The Inter Era
Yes, it is the internet era where everything can be connected easily. Changes willcontinue to happen (not least in the graphic design industry.) And we as designersshould be able to anticipate the changing times, or we can run over increasing competition.

It should be in underlining if we follow the online design competition, we must realize thatwe're doing spec work (paid work are not clear.) This is why there are a few designers(mostly seniors) who do not like this new platform. Designers should not be doing paidwork are not clear it, well, that if you're already an expert in stage (high level).

Unlimited Opportunity

But for novice designers (in terms of experience and network), the design competition isan opportunity that was opening his arms wide, then depending on ourselves. Win or notat all.

My own career started from zero, therefore I will give several reasons why designersshould at least try their ability in website design competition.

1. Places for Learn
The first reason is certainly the basis for why we follow the design competition. It'senough that we learn to make a mock-up / code itself offline. Maximum only in theshowcase in the gallery like deviantART, personal blogs or facebook albums. Now is the time to try on the actual field, pervading the brief, communicating with clients, revisionuntil the final results.

Do not forget, this competition. So if you play it correctly, then the prize will be waiting forthe dollar is considered just as a bonus our hard work.

2. Search and Collect Real Portofolio

Started his own career had begun with a real action. Manifesto is a portfolio.Prospective clients will judge us from the portfolio that we have done previously. And thisis the key to open career doors that you want.

If you've followed some of the competition, although not always win, you still can enteryour best work into the portfolio. In web design, you still can use designs that do not winit to be sold to clients who are interested, or the modification again for future projects. It would not hurt right?

3. Stepping Stone.

After having enough portfolio, the next step on your own self. Stay abreast of the competition or start looking for clients. I prefer the second step. The reason, competitionis fun, but I already have to think of comparisons with the results of working time in the can. And of course the competition can not guarantee we will always win.

I prefer clients who contacted me directly after viewing the portfolio on your blog orwebsite portfolio showcase. Because the clients of this type at least 80% definitelywould use my services, usually just a matter of price which they consider material.

4. Could Become a Permanent Job

More like to compete? No problem, with a portfolio that has been collected and thenumber of victories that is can be proud of, I'm sure you will be easier to win (usually the client already menfavoritkan designers who have often won).

Now you can make the competition as a permanent job, not as a medium of learning and trial and error.

Well, already you know the main reasons why we should try our capabilities in websitedesign competition? Let's start training and competing! Zuperr Greetings!
